Everyone has a favorite thing. It can be a celebrity, a color, or a city center. Even rich socialites with lots of people around them have a favorite person. Living in a society full of differences gives us the freedom to choose. There can be solidarity between those whose favorite is the same thing. Favorites tighten friendships and social bonds.
